Blythe House Hospice Celebrates 35 Years with Fundraising Gala

Blythe House Hospice recently marked its 35th anniversary with a spectacular gala ball held at the Pavilion Gardens in Buxton. The event was a resounding success, raising vital funds for the hospice and bringing together the local community in celebration.

The gala, generously sponsored by TF Jackson Portable Buildings, was a night to remember. Guests enjoyed a sparkling drinks reception, followed by a delicious meal and live music from the popular local band, Purple Cloud of Funk. A lively auction and raffle added to the excitement, with a range of exclusive prizes up for grabs.

The hospice, founded in memory of Stan Blythe by Reverend Betty Packham in 1989, has been providing essential care and support to the local community for over three decades. The gala was an opportunity to celebrate the hospice’s achievements and recognize the dedication of its staff and volunteers.

Rachael Gee, Fundraising and Events Coordinator at Blythe House expressed her gratitude for the support received:

We are so incredibly grateful to TF Jackson for sponsoring this special event to celebrate the hospice’s 35th year. Their generous donation means that income from the table sales and fundraising on the night can be spent directly on local patient care.

We are delighted to support Blythe House as it celebrates its milestone anniversary with this very special fundraising event. We’ve been proud to support the hospice for a number of years now with sponsorship and the donation of gifts in kind.

For us at TF Jackson we can see the difference that our support is making, and we know that all the money raised at the hospice’s fundraising events is spent so wisely supporting local people and their families. We really enjoyed celebrating on the night alongside many other dedicated hospice supporters.
