As December and January were both short months for us due to our Christmas closedown, which seems a long time ago now! We have combined the news for these two months into one….

December kicked off with a delivery of four single units fitted with double doors to returning customer Zeta Alarms in Swansea. Powells Bus Company in Rotherham and Loos Direct in Hixon both took delivery of single units. Glenbarrow in Stockport have a three-bay building they are fitting out themselves as an office/kitchen/toilet.

Tarmac have taken delivery of a three-bay building for their Tunstead Quarry site, through Sapphire Energy.

Thor Atkinson who have taken several buildings from us over the years both new and pre-used took a 12-bay building for Hanson Aggregates at Criggion Quarry in Shrewsbury. This houses offices, and welfare facilities including toilets and showers.

Stanby Self Storage another long standing customer took a two-bay building for their site in Aylesbury and placed orders for two more site to go in the New Year and Tudor Modular took a further three-bay building for Fords engine plant at Dagenham.

JRL collected two units and a number of panels and trims to supplement their stock of modular buildings. And Underbelly, event organisers in Edinburgh took delivery of gasket as they re-use their modular buildings for various applications including pop up bars and theatres.

Deliveries of used buildings this month included West Pennine Trucks, Scania dealers in Trafford park two 32’ x 10’ units for use as their spares department.  Bri-stor in Hixon, Three Counties Show Ground in Peterborough, Ainscough Hire in Skelmersdale and East Midlands Trains in Derby both took delivery of second-hand toilet blocks. Britcab of Pocklington collected a 40’ x 10’ Canteen unit. And K2 Recovery collected the balance of their buildings.

Ecclesbourne Valley Railway who have a 9 mile long heritage railway operating between Wirksworth and Duffield in Derbyshire took a range of containers for use along their line. Glossop Caravans in Glossop! Took delivery of a 16’ x 9’ unit as an on-site office.

January started with an installation at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo for the elephant handlers, a three-bay building has provided new welfare accommodation including toilet and shower. Cleveland Containers collected four single 20’ x 8’ units. Sudeley Castle & Gardens in Gloucestershire, Essential Water in Letchworth, Astle Automotives in Chelford and Scanview in St Neots all took delivery of single 20’ x 8’ office units.

HCT (Bristol Community Transport) in Bristol have a two-story building, three bays on the ground floor and one on the top with steel access stairs.

Holden Plant Rentals in Ireland took delivery of two modular buildings on four-bay and one six-bay which they installed themselves. This was a quick turn round as they had an urgent requirement.

WS Transportation took four additional modules to increase the size of their existing offices in Runcorn.

Pre-used deliveries this month included site sets ups of offices, canteen and toilets for Taylor Lindsey in Sleaford and Fairgrove Homes in Nottingham. St Thomas More School in Buxton have a replacement unit for their year 11 common room.
